Staff, pupils and parents in Belfast Royal Academy are delighted to be celebrating another year of exceptional performance. Excellent examination results with high attainment and achievement reflects the tremendous hard work of the pupils and staff. 100% of the pupils achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades A* – C and 93.1% of pupils achieved 7 or more GCSEs at grades A* – C.

Principal Hilary Woods, congratulated pupils on their hard work and resulting success:

“These excellent results are a tribute to the incredible hard work and dedication of the pupils, staff, parents and Governors. These results are testament to the school’s strength in delivering the highest standard of education, particularly in the core subjects and also reflect the commitment of pastoral staff, especially the SEN team, who have provided the individual care and attention that has enabled so many of our pupils to meet and, in many cases, exceed their personal targets. I would like to thank the Form 5 parents and guardians who have provided essential support to their children and continue to uphold the school’s ethos.

The achievements of our pupils provides a secure foundation to continue their education in Sixth Form and we are looking forward to welcoming pupils into Lower Sixth next week and supporting them as they prepare for University and future success.”
