CINEMA CLUB VISIT A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY

Posted on

The Force was strong with twenty-eight pupils from the B.R.A. Into Film Club just before Christmas, when they enjoyed a visit to the cinema to watch the latest Star Wars film, The Last Jedi, on the big screen! The film has become the third highest grossing film of 2017 and the 18th highest grossing film of all-time, as well as the second highest grossing film of the Star Wars franchise.

Over 400 pupils from schools across Northern Ireland attended the film screening. One pupil from each school was selected to take part in a Star Wars photoshoot with Cinemagic ‘Into Film’, with Andrew Cleland (Form I) representing the Academy. All pupils also enjoyed participating in a film review writing workshop following the film’s screening.

Staff and pupils very much enjoyed the cinema trip, and are already looking forward to the sequel, Episode IX, scheduled for release on December 20th 2019!
