Many congratulations to the eight Middle Sixth pupils who recently received conditional offers to study at the UK’s two leading universities.

With competition for places particularly strong, it is fantastic to see such a wide spread of disciplines represented by the offers, covering the Arts, Sciences and Humanities.

  • Anna McClurg received an offer to read Fine Art at Oxford,
  • Tara Cavan received an offer to read French & Spanish at Cambridge,
  • Conor Foster received an offer to read French & Russian at Cambridge,
  • Patrick Donnelly received an offer to read Music at Cambridge,
  • Shane Martin received an offer to read Physics at Oxford,
  • Daniel Quigley received an offer to read Music at Cambridge,
  • Jack Golden, received an offer to read Economics at Cambridge,
  • Conor Callagan received an offer to read PPE at Oxford

Belfast Royal Academy prepares potential Oxbridge candidates throughout Lower Sixth and Middle Sixth with a series of tutorials delivered by teaching staff Dr Geoff Brown, Mr Mark Shields and Ms Tracy McBeth.

The success of these candidates reflects the high aspirations the school has for all of its pupils, the value that is placed on academic excellence and the superb quality of teaching and learning.

We wish all of our MVI pupils success as they complete their A Level studies in preparation for the next exciting stage in their education.
