Congratulations to our ABP Angus Youth Challenge team who have made it through two stages of the competition and have now been selected for the final, which will be held on the 9th March at CAFRE, Cookstown.
The team travelled to Loughry College, Cookstown on Friday 2nd February to represent the Academy in the ABP Angus Youth Challenge Exhibition, which is in its inaugural year here in N. Ireland. They were interviewed by industry specialists about beef production, Aberdeen Angus meat, their knowledge of ABP as a food processing company and about their proposed project. They were fantastic and progressed through to the final in Cookstown where they will present their project in more detail to 7 experts from across the Agri-food and farming sectors in NI. At this event the winners will be selected by the judges.
Good luck team and we hope they bring home the….beef!!
