On Monday 5th March, thirty Form I students from St Malachy’s College travelled to the Academy for their next ‘shared classroom’ LLW experience. The focus of the lesson was on exploring the pupils’ concept of the different elements of their personalities and how they could use their skills and talents to work together. The main event was a tower building competition.
The pupils quickly turned their attention to planning their towers, and the competition was fierce. There were three towers in contention by the end – but the superior engineering of one group meant that we soon had a clear winner. After some time to chat and evaluate the session, pupils headed back to class, with friendships strengthened and bridges (as well as towers) built.
