Six Form III Technology pupils represented the school at the final of the ‘Belfast Harbour Minecraft Education Sustainable & Renewable Engineering Challenge’ on Wednesday 28 June.  STEM Aware had provided two Minecraft sessions in school for forty Form III pupils over the last few weeks, where they worked in groups to create Minecraft structures in a virtual Minecraft Belfast Harbour Estate map to provide sustainable and renewable engineering solutions for the future.

The six chosen pupils travelled at the Belfast Harbour Commissioners Office, where they presented their work and competed against other schools in more Minecraft challenges.  The pupils showed they had the ability to think about and produce innovative sustainable engineering solutions for their future world.
