We welcome Daniela Ambrogi, an English teacher from Italy, to Belfast Royal Academy for a period of one week. She is currently teaching at the Liceo d’Arte Chierici in Reggio Emilia and is here to take part in an ‘E-Mobility project’ which is a major project with the goal of modifying the school system in Northern Italy through examining how other European schools achieve good practice in their delivery of education.
This project is funded by the EU Mobility Fund and other teachers from the school will visit over the next few weeks. Cecelia Panizzi teaches Mathematics and is responsible for the computerized system which deals with tutorials in her school and Elena Viale is the school VP. They will observe classes, speak to senior management, the principal and take part in school life to gain an appreciation of the differences between school life here and there.
