A team of 16 LVI pupils and 6 leaders will be in Mulanje, Malawi from 24th June – 7th July.
While there, the team will have opportunities for Work Experience in Mulanje Mission Hospital, MMCD Secondary School, the Primary School and APATSA, a primary school providing quality education for orphans and vulnerable children. We will also work together with the local people to renovate two classrooms, the nursery school and the nursery classroom at APATSA. We also hope to travel to Liwonde National Park to see some of Mulawi’s animals in the wild (at a safe distance!) During our time in Mulanje we will be staying at Likhubula House. Unfortunately, there has been no electricity there for 6 weeks and last week the generator broke down! However, we are hopeful that we will have electricity at Mulanje Mission so that we can update our blog.
