On Wednesday 18th December, a selection of Form III pupils went to W5 for a GCSE subject choice STEM event.  The pupils had the opportunity to attend four lectures from different companies in Northern Ireland, including Liberty IT, Northern Ireland Water, Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency and University of Ulster.  Each lecture gave a brief description about the company and what GCSEs the pupils should do if they wanted to go into that specific field.  In between lectures the pupils got to go to an exhibition area that was set up with a range of stalls promoting business and education in Northern Ireland.  The pupils enjoyed the event and engaged well with the different companies, giving them a feel for some potential career opportunities.
